About Author:

Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani (1372–1449 CE) was a distinguished Islamic scholar, hadith master, jurist, and historian from Egypt. He was orphaned at a young age, memorizing the Quran by age nine. He later became the chief Shafi'i judge in Egypt. He was an author of over 150 works, this includes commentary on Sahih al-Bukhari, Fath al-Bari.

The complete Arabic title is Bulūgh al-Marām min Adillat al-Aḥkām, which translates to "Attainment of the Objective According to the Evidences of the Ordinances".
